For funsies, here's a Wordle of
Our Top 150 Most Used Words in All of Our Blog Posts of 2010

I guess this means we really like the word LIKE. Haha.

2011 Here We Come!
I don't really believe in these, but oh well.

Jen - Aquarius
A series of breakthroughs in consciousness happen for you in 2011. Slowing down those genius synapses may not be an option, but with so much mental exuberance, why would you want it to stop? Imagine the onslaught of six planets all occupying the mental sector of your horoscope at the same time. And the fact that the planets will be in Aries -- one of the feistiest, go-getter signs of them all -- only adds fuel to the fire. A sense of urgency dominates the scene. You won't put off tomorrow what you can do today. Could the planets possibly be any more conducive to productivity?

Of course sleep could be an issue in that case, but you'll have so much energy you won't even notice the deprivation. If you're a writer, this is by far your most prolific year. Words easily just spill right onto the page. Regardless of your chosen profession, you'll have your hands full with communication and correspondence. You're learning all about the power and pleasures of the mind with daily life becoming a thrilling education itself.

Another keynote of 2011 is a radically spiritualized approach to money and possessions. Don't be surprised if you're suddenly inspired to give it all away just to tap into the lightness of being. Any residual materialistic tendencies seem to lose their importance once Neptune takes up residence in your money sector this year. You'll be inundated by Neptune's compassionate and empathic teachings over the next 14 years. You'll feel more for those who have not and may even devote more of your time and energy to helping those in need.

Kendall - Aries
Out with the old matrix and in with something totally different -- with trailblazing Rams leading the way as usual. It's all about the new in 2011. Others will take their cues from you especially when Uranus follows Jupiter into Aries in March. You won't have a second to forget that you're the consummate pioneer of the zodiac. With Jupiter and Uranus tag teaming it in your constellation, much new ground needs breaking in 2011. You'll barely have a second to rest and process all the brand spanking newness that has become part and parcel of your everyday life. Long-distance travel, philosophy, higher learning and experimentation are all par for a very exciting course as this mighty year unfolds.

Expect a birthday season to remember with lucky Jupiter and life-changing Uranus working wonders in your fiery stars. Your innate go-getter instincts are off the charts. As the spring season gets underway, life hits maximum speed (sleep, what's that?) May Day alert: Circle May 1 on your calendar with a big red sharpie, Rams! An explosive amount of Aries planetary energy abounds as six -- count 'em, six -- planets traverse your incendiary corner of the zodiac simultaneously. This includes Moon, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Uranus all rallying for your cause. Age of Aquarius themes pop up as Jupiter in fact does align with Mars on this very powerful day. Every second counts and actions speak infinitely larger than words.

Summertime brings Jupiter's jackpot in your money sector. Expect a nice fattening of the piggy between June and December with incredible opportunities to make the big bank. Love, pleasure and romance hit a high note in late September. Venus brings the beauty and love to your partnership sector while Mars simultaneously brings the sparks to your romance sector. Long-distance travel and adventures galore take precedence in November. While in December professional responsibilities will demand the majority of time and energy. But if you're willing to go the extra mile, your status could easily skyrocket.

What to Expect from 2011?
Pure AWESOMENESS. I can feel it. Can you? I know I can.
It's true. There will be more awesome than containable.
Also, expect some new bloging awesomeness. Yeah, we got plans.

This basically sums up our expectations for the new year:

Happy 2011 everyone! Get ready for some thri'11s. Let's make this the i'11est year ever.

Project4Awesome 2010? CHECK.

To make up for dismal results in this year's NaNoWriMo competition and to join Nerdfighteria (Nerdfighters!) decrease world suck, Kendall and I made a video for P4A 2010.

Dedicated to Summer Kozai '00, we created a video that we hope did two things: 1) Raise awareness for those who have lost limbs and those who are caring for people who have lost limbs, and 2) Promote AMPUCAMP.

AMPUCAP is a non-profit organization that organizes four camps throughout the year especially for those who have lost limbs and their caregivers. They have activities that provide help, support and encouragement to amputees adapting and recovering from their situations.

We had so much fun planning and making this video. And I'm sure Kendall had fun editing it, too. Thank you so much to those who showed their support by taping their thumbs! Not everyone appeared on our video but we are still very thankful for your participation. Your willingness to "take away" your thumbs was very inspiring.

For more info on Project4Awesome, go to: http://dft.ba/-p4ainformation

Check out AMPUCAMP at: http://dft.ba/-ampucampwebsite

Don't forget to go crazy rating, commenting, liking and favorite-ing our video and other P4A videos!

P.S. I updated The List, so I transferred P4A 2010 to Things We Have Already Done.

November is gone. So is my sanity.

NaNoWriMo 2010 came and went and Kendall and I both failed. To constantly reminds us of our shame, we are going to keep the word counter things on the left column until next year. Unless Kendall reads this and decides to take them off?

But just because November is over, it doesn't mean that we're gonna stop.

WE ARE GOING TO FINISH THESE. MARK OUR WORDS. WE WILL.

November is a terrible month. Who decided it should be November anyway?

Just in case you were wondering, or if we didn't tell you before, Kendall's story is basically about a group of friends and a couple of them are going out while there's one guy who likes this girl, but the girl is going out with another guy. Then the girl gets abducted by the government bacause she hacked into some top secret thing and her friends have to rescue her (I don't know their names, sorry). They go to different places all around the world like Jamba Juice (where they find a bald kid named Alex!), our friend Rachel's house, Washington state, Hawaii, etc. Yeah, it's crazy.

Mine is about two sixteen-year-old best friends, Cammie (real name Camryn) and Jay (real name James)...who are really best friends (I don't know how else to put it, but they are). A weird purplish tattoo thing shows up on Cammie's wrist and she starts to notice that something is...off...with Jay, who has been having weird dreams about some creepy guy (Who is it???) watching Cammie sleep ever since he was four. Jay lies to Cammie about something (like, legit-tangled-spider-web-ripped-pieces-of-a-note-in-three-separate-trash-cans-around-school-and-deleted-Internet-history-kind-of-lying), Cammie finds out and they have a big fight over it. Jay disappears so no one was there to catch Cammie when she suddenly collapses at Winter Ball and doesn't (or more like, can't) wake up. And how does that Cam Lau (real name Cameron...whaaattt??) boy factor into all of this?

Doesn't that sound delightful? No? Well, I like it. Flashback memories make up most of it. I like flashback memories.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I love Christmas.

For some reason, I'm extra-excited for this coming holiday season. Don't know why, but I am.

--Fruity

P.S. I like how we have two more creepy people reading this blog. Keep 'em comin', guys, keep 'em comin'. We're still waiting for some views from countries in Africa and South America. Our goal is to hit every continent! Except Antarctica.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Reactions???

Um, it was amazing. Brain-bits-mingled-with-bitter-tears-all-over-the-theater-seats-kind-of-amazing. I was pleased; far from disappointed. There were bits that I didn't exactly LOVE, but I am definitely very pleased with it.

Uhh, yeah, sorry. No specifics yet. I'm still digesting. Check back in a while. Like, the first week of December maybe.

NaNoWriMo brings out the true Procrastinator in me.

So we are one day past halfway into NaNoWriMo. Right now I have 17,000 words, putting me about 10,000 words behind at the moment. (BTW, if you want updates on our NaNoWriMo-ness, look <------------ over there.)

However, if your name is Jen, please don't. (Also, I'm alltaco32, and Jen is Rheangjii)

BTDubz, if you, the non-existent reader of this blog, don't know what I'm talking about, then here: http://dft.ba/-ournanopost

For the most part, I haven't been not able to write. I have just been extremely LAZY. Like for example, right now, I should be writing, but I'm not. Also, my story is turning out really poorly. In the beginning, I planned out a whole bunch of stuff, but since then, everything has basically changed. And now, whenever I write, I have to make up things on the spot. To give you a little taste of the spontaneity of my story, first they start in Seattle, they go up to Vancouver, back to Seattle, then to Hawai'i. I have a billion words left to write, and I have no clue how I am going to get through them.

Oh well, at least it is somewhat fun. Ha ha, except for the fact that I have to ask myself this question every time I write: "Can you remind me, why I thought that this would be fun?" (http://dft.ba/-reference)

Okay, I should get back to writing. TTFN?

NaNoWriMo brings out the true creeper in me.

However, I am way behind on NaNoWriMo writing. It's disgusting actually, my being behind and everything. I only have a measly 1,372 words while Kendall's already in, I don't know, his fourth or fifth chapter (?!?!?!?!) with a total of 7,155 words. O. EME. GE.

*SIGH*

I seriously need to UP my game. In everything, basically.

Imagine that you're juggling a lot of balls (get over it, infant) in the air.

Then this guy named Homecoming (his last name is Week...haha) comes over and distracts you. You talk to him and you laugh, you're having fun, yada, yada, yada.

And next thing you know, a ball falls to the ground. Followed by another one. And then another. And then Homecoming waves goodbye and skips away toward that proverbial sunset, leaving you in a terrible situation (that jerk). The balls that fell to the ground start to roll away slowly from you like they have minds of their own.

To make things worse, they're all moving in different directions. You know you have to pick them all up before it's too late. But at the same time, you have to keep the balls you're still juggling up in the air. (Oh and just a clarification, just in case there are some non-humans out there reading this: in this scenario, you are a typical human and you have two hands).

You try to decide what to do. Should you go after the ball behind you or the one moving away from your left foot? Or what about the other one that's moving away in front of you? And the ball moving away to your right? If you pick one of them, the others will continue moving farther and farther away. So you'd have to be quick and run back to get them all after you get one. But what do you do if, by some miracle, you reach a ball? Do you let everything fall to pick up that one ball? Do you juggle with one hand (yikes), slowly bend down and use your free hand to pick up the ball? What if more balls fall if you do that? And then they'd start to move away from you, too, just like the others.

To add to that, this cruel thing that goes by many names ("Inevitability", "Fate", "Jerk", etc.) throws in more balls for you to juggle. It's every clown/juggler/circus person's nightmare.

Eventually, when you've basically been doing that for the past sixteen years of your life, you'll want to just throw up your hands scream and watch as a million colorful balls fall like rain around you. You'll just watch.

But then you mentally hit yourself because you know that then you'd have to pick up all of them and you know that that'd be a &%*$# to do.

So you just keep on juggling and hope that nothing falls. And when you feel that you're strong enough, you power up to BEAST MODE and grab those balls like, to quote the illustrious Reppun, "the devil's chasin' you."

BEST. FEELING. IN. THE. WORLD.

Actually, forget Earth--BEST. FEELING. IN. THE. DARN. UNIVERSE.

Okay, this is getting slightly deps, so let's go back to NaNoWriMo!!

Despite this whole falling behind thing, I'm still super excited. I'm not exactly sure if I should reveal deets about our stories. But I'm definitely excited to read Kendall's The Adventure. That's his tentative title. I don't even have a working title. Well, right now, it's Balance. But I don't think it'll be the same because I change my mind about the plot every other hour.

So, once my story has a more solid shape, I will feed you morsels of either text or simple facts. Or both.

Excited? Excited.

In control? In control.

I've been doing that a lot lately: asking a question and answering said question just by changing the question mark to a period.

Really? Really.

SEE?!?!?!?! :)

All right, enough for now.

--Fruity

P.S. I like how we have a total of four creepers (one of them is Ashlyn) who read our blog. Oh and that one "friend" (who may really be a creeper by calling him/herself our friend when he/she is really not, but we'll never really know unless they come forward and tell us).

Monday, November 1, 2010

Guys, It's November. Yeps.

It is. Check your calendars (or your clock if you're awake ike RIGHT NOW). Time's screwing us over again.

As promised, here is the November 1 post, people, to officially announce the beginning of NaNoWriMo. But I think I remember reading about some kind of time difference issue because it's a worldwide thing. Oh well.

You all ready for this? 'Cause I'm no way in hell ready for this. But I'm jumping in anyway. If you're cool, check it out: http://www.nanowrimo.org/

But before you do, be kind enough to listen to my female-teenager-not-really-a-rant-but-close.

First of all, I'd like to say that Kendall's Homecoming blog totally owns mine last year which was so pathetic it needs to be blasted into Internet oblivion forever and ever.

Secondly, I proofread and edited it just for you. If you just read his Homecoming blog just now, you're welcome.

Thirdly, oh, KENDALL's mad? Then what does that make me? FREAKING PISSED, that's what. So much that I don't even wanna talk about it right now. So I'm gonna go write a sonnet (yes, I just said I am going to sonnetize) and come back when it's actually November 1 (which is in an hour because it is now 11:02 as I'm writing this) so that I can actually post this thing up, but not talk about it. 'Cause it should just be forgotten and not talked about and just shouldn't even exist and anyone who brings it up again will die a painful death in my hands.

And what makes it worse is how I hate being mad at him and wanting to rip his head off, yell at him, and ignore him because I know I can't because I just can't. It's just not possible.

BUT this is actually a good thing because for once, he knows that I'm mad at him (I think, pretty sure. If not, then that totally ruins the whole purpose of the "good thing" part) because if there's anything in the world that I hate, it's when I'm super mad at someone and that someone doesn't have a clue. So HA.

Fourth...crap. I forgot what fourth was. Darn. Whatever. I'll remember later.

***********

I remembered the fourth one! HA, it's Sunday night, which means I'm pulling an all-nighter as usual so I DID read that tonight. Okay, back to the sonnet...

***********

Still not done with my sonnet. Along with a bunch of other things. So I guess I have to do them all tomorrow morning. Or try to anyway. Phys homework has to be pushed back to lunch and period 6. Study for Spanish quiz and APUSH essay test (first period of the day, shucks) in the morning and long homeroom. Print everything I need to print in the morning, too. Aw shucks, no confrontation...? Ah, to be honest, I'm kinda scared. But still mad. So scared-mad.
And my sonnet. Ok, I'm not gonna sleep until I finish this darn sonnet. Fourteen lines of rhyming iambic pentameter...what else could I ask for? Naaahhhttt.

***********

FOUR MORE MINUTES!

***********

12:00 AM: PUBLISH POST. WIN.

P.S. I really liked that honey. LIKE, REALLY LIKED IT. All over my granola.

Homecoming 2010: X

Guess what?? (Well as you could have guessed by the title) this past week was HOMECOMING!!! *WOO* So I guess you could consider this post as our first official sequel post since it is the sequel to last year's Homecoming post (http://dft.ba/-homecoming09).
So as you may already know, everyday has a specific theme to dress up for and accompanying activities. So throughout this blog post, I will share with you each day.

Day One: Fashion No-No Day
This is the day where you dress up in all crazy-kine clothes that do not match at all.
So this day's activities included the homecoming kick-off in which there is....well, a kick-off. Then at lunch there was an awesome obstacle course around the Center Courtyard. Our grade lost, but at least our very own Gavin Denzer participated!

Day Two: Pirates, Ninjas, Heroes, and Villians (Oh my!)
The title is pretty self explanatory......
Jen and I were both Ninjas

On this day, there was the annual musical chairs competition in the morning. It started off with about 30 people and then worked it's way down to one. Jen and I both competed; Jen lost at around the top 15 people, and I was about the 8th. Oh, and the winner get's an AMAZING prize: first class seating for lip sync. There were a bunch of activities during lunch that day, and the ones that I can remember are tug-of-war and a water ballon toss (Jen has Spanish tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays so she wasn't there). For some reason, our group of friends were the only ones present for the tug-of-war, so it ended up being Sid, Gavin, Rebecca, Krislyn, and myself competing for the Juniors. We were supposed to have ten people so two seniors came and helped us out. The second that it started, the rope broke, so that was ultimately a fail. Then there was a water ballon toss which Jen wanted to compete in, but she couldn't so Sid and I did. We failed. Oh now I remember, the other activity was eXtreme Twister. This was Twister, except it was a different mat and the were two-people teams, and one person was blindfolded and playing on the mat while the other was telling that person where to go. Our grade lost.
Day Three: Peace Day
This day was essentially "Hippie" day.
We didn't have a picture together that day...
So on that fine Wednesday morning, they were giving out free yogurt and granola. Jen got both, while I only got the granola. Oh, and Jen got honey. She REALLY liked that honey. Also, we helped out Ms. Tamas set up the tie-dye station that was going to be going on all day. Jen and I both tie-dyed white shirts (pictures bellow) and therefore we completed a task for the list!! *WOO* Also during lunch there was a concert which featured the always amazing Vaeas and they were selling burgers and hot dogs. Good day.

Day Four: Halloween^3
So yeah, that may be weird that we were celebrating Halloween four days early, but it was the only place where it could fit!

Jen was some Asian chick, and I was Harry Potter.

In the morning, they were serving juicy blood (like, for realz). And also, we saw some pretty awesome costumes. Including Aang by our favorite senior Alex who actually SHAVED HIS HEAD!!! Also Sean dressed up in a pretty epic panda suit. There were a lot of other good ones, but too many to name. Then at lunch........Well this is the only day where I can't remember what happened. That's probably because I didn't even watch the lunch assembly...Oh and the Roberts made an AMAZING haunted house that was a TON of fun. I don't think that Jen got to go through it though... Lastly, there was Lip-Sync that day!! It was pretty good, I thought that our grade was better than I expected. My favorite part of ours was our J-Beibs performance.

Day Five: All-Out Raider Day
Finally, the day of Homecoming is HERE! This was the day where we went all out red, white, and black.

Sooooooo much happened this day, so I will approach it little by little. First off, in the morning, the Raider Mobile was going around giving out candy. Sadly, Jen and I were in W-Lab working on her sonnet so we got none of this beloved candy. Also, all throughout the day, the Roberts were doing face paintings, as seen in the picture.  Then at lunch there was Minute to Win it, which was just a bunch of fun competitions, and our grade won!!! *WOO* Oh and I forgot to mention that all the dress days and competitions added to each grade's spirt points. Then came Cheerfest at the end of the school day. Our cheer was okay, I'm actually not to sure how well we did. I was sitting next to a bunch of D-Bags who were pushing everyone down and stuff. I didn't really think any of the other grades were spectacular. I liked the 8th graders' moves, and the seniors who were just jumping up and down and stuff in front. Then there was the football game, which we won 42-7!!! *WOO* That was a pretty good time that would take way too much time to describe fully. After was the Ho'olaulea which was basically a performance showcase. Jen and Tiff went, but Shann, Kels, Rachel, Jaime, Ping, and I stayed behind. I later found out that Gavin and the Vaeas performed, I didn't get to see it, but I am sure that they were AMAZING!!! Then was the Burning of the 'I', which, again, is self-explanatory. If you still don't get it, look at the picture above. Then after that, we moseyed on down to the homecoming dance where we had a ton of fun. Well, actually some of us had fun. I guess I did have fun, but something particular happened that kind of ruined the night for me. Jen doesn't know what it is yet, and seeing as it is late, I don't think that she will see this tonight, and I probably will confront her about it tomorrow morning so I guess that I can talk about it here. I am still really mad at Jen for it, but I can't seem to stay mad at her. Like, I really just want to completely ignore her, or yell at her, or do something about it, but I can't be mad her because I just can't. I hate that, I wish that when we were mad at each other, we could just be mad at each other, but no, the world just forces us to de-madifiy our selfs. But I suppose that that is for the best, but still, I am super mad at her.

Anyway, that's about it. This thing took me about an hour to write. Yeah, you're welcome. Tomorrow NaNoWriMo starts, which Jen will post about, so I guess that I am excited. Oh and one other thing, Jen, Tiff, and I are having a Harry Potter quote competition in honor of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 coming out on November 19. Exciting stuff. So yeah, that's about it, I am going to go get some sleep.

-Chewy

(Oh yeah, here are those Tie-Dye pictures)

The top two are Jen's and the bottom one is mine.
Jen actually made three, but I can't seem to find that picture.

Mr. Riordan doesn't TRY to be awesome. It just comes naturally.

The Heroes of Olympus, Book One: The Lost Hero
NO SPOILERS HERE, SO DON'T WORRY.
Okay, so Kendall and I just finished Rick Riordan's first book of his new series, The Heroes of Olympus. That man is a GENIUS, no joke. It was mind-blowing--I've still got tiny bits of my brain on my sheets and bedroom walls. For a major part of the book, I was all, "What is going on????" And then he hits you at the very end like BAM! Kendall actually finished it before and he warned me not to read the last sentence before anything, no matter what. When I read that killer last sentence....WOW.
Now we're at a loss as to what in the world we're going to do until the fall of 2011, a year from now, when the next book is scheduled to come out. But at least we know that we're all set for the next five years because the series will be a 5-er. Yes, we will still read these books throughout college.

GREAT STUFF.

What? Abandon you? Nooooo...

Haiiiiiiiii.

So...how YOU doin'?

Please don't hit me. Or Kendall, either.

Ok, fine, so it kinda-sorta-maybe-not-really-but-okay-fine-we-did seemed like we abandoned this blog after a whole August full of tender loving, but in our defense, we were really busy dying under this thing called "school" and "work" and, most of the time, "school work." Well, at least I was.

Anyway, we're really sorry for not posting for so long, whoever you are (seven views from Latvia?!?!).

There are several reasons why I wanted to post tonight:
1) I finished Physics homework extra early. THAT'S HOW WE DO.

2) The first quarter of our junior year is slowly coming to a close (two more days!). Sadness. But we're really glad for the one-day-long (One day!?!?!) fall break after the past seven or eight grueling weeks of school.

3) This also means that November is coming up. And you know what that means!
IT'S ALMOST NANOWRIMO!!! This is the first year Kendall and I are doing it together and we want to win. Like, really. This is serious business. It's going to be very interesting.

And finally, 4) I originally intended for my next post to be like a Throwback Post in which I provide you with a little summary of how far we've come in this blog and take you on a walk down Memory Lane.

It's been a little over a year since we started this blog. I still remember it like it was yesterday...

It was Summer of '09 (ALLCAPS!) and Kendall and I were taking summer school. I believe he took Write Right! while I took Geometry B to get ahead in math. Anyway, Kendall only had class in the early mornings while I had class later in the mornings before lunch. So, naturally, being the cool and nerdy and awesome person he is, he hung out a lot in the library during his free time. I was walking from my classroom to our Morning Bench when, I think, he came to meet me halfway and he gave me a piece of paper. On that piece of paper was a print out of the first post of this blog (I think).

I think we threw that paper away.

Kendall had decided to create a blog because, I think the day before, I showed him my Bucket List, a list of things I wanted to do before I died, and one of the tasks was to create a blog. So we built this blog around the idea of sharing a kinda-Bucket List.

But, this is not the time for me to elaborate on these hazy (did you notice I said, "I think," TWICE?!) memories. I still have an APUSH chapter just dying to be read.

Once November starts, however.....OMG, I can't believe I forgot it!
So, Kendall and I are extreme Potterheads--although, because of our nerdyness, you probably already knew that. So....wait, hmmm, should I be typing this up in a blog?....wait, maybe it's supposed to be a secret. Ah, never mind them. Just erase everything I just said.

Anyway, what was I saying?...Oh, so once November starts, I, or Kendall, or whoever, will definitely post in order to officially announce our pariticipation in NaNoWriMo. Aren't you excited? I AM!!! I mean, WE ARE!!!

Okay, I guess that's it for now. Again, we're really sorry for "abandoning" you (18 views from Malta?! MALTA?!?!?!).

THIS BIG!!!! I--------------------------------------I

Okay, so it has been 9 days since the end of BEDA and we haven't posted, so I think I am going to do the honors since you still haven't added to your draft.
I probably should be doing homework right now, I need to finish my history paper and do a reading response for english, but I guess that I will finish it luegos.
STORY TIME!!!!
So I was eating tortilla chips while procrastinating like 20 minutes ago. And this HUGE piece of chip gets lodged into my gums!!! Like this big I----I. Now that may not seem big, but in terms of stuff getting lodge in your gums, it is. So I was freaking out because it hurt. Also, it was the top of my mouth, so I had to use a mirror to see it. Now, the problem was that I didn't know which way it went in, so I didn't know what way to push it out. So after like 10 minutes of mindless poking, I got my toothbrush and fiddled with it and I think I got it out. I can't entirely tell, but I think that I did.
END OF STORY!!!!
So yeah, today I showed you my math homework, and the purpose of that was to show you that I learned about imaginary numbers. That was exciting.... Yeah, it's interesting. Also, I got a 93 on my quiz. That's alright. Oh, but I got a 71 on my chem test!!!!!! That sucks!!!! Now I am getting a C in chem. But the good news is that I think that I will poon (do real people still say that?) the anion quiz. I think that I get all this business of ions and such, but if I ever need help, you know the first person that I will come to. Oh, and I am failing Captains class. But I think that I can get it back through this paper and our test on monday. Wait, I think I have a math quiz tomorrow. Hmm, what would it be on??? Oh, easy stuff.
Sorry for boring you with school stuff.
So I sort of want to be in spanish honor society, because I am kind of jealous because it sounds prestigious. So I want to do well this year in spanish.
I haven't been able to read more WGWG but yeah, I like John's Will better, even though he still is kind of an idiot. I am 98% sure that John's next book is gonna be about someone stranded on a desert island. Exciting.
Ha ha, I just looked at the title again, and it looks a little sexual. Well, lets just hope that it isn't then.
YOU KNOW WHAT IS RIDICULOUS!!?!??! HAVING TO PUT MY NAME AND STUFF AT THE TOP LEFT OF MY HISTORY PAPER!!!! STUPID!!!!!!
Luisa es comida.
Ask me about that up there, because it is slightly gossip. Not bad or anything though.
So what was this I heard about you listening to new music or something? I think it's your story time. Or not, if you do not wish to tell, but whatevers...........
Am I the only one who wants to be apart of DA??? Because that would be so totally awesome.
Tiff+Ping Bday in 3 days. (Sunday). Just a reminder.
I like Josh's picture for photo, if he didn't tell you, he through leaves in the air to make it look like they were levitating. You know. Like those other ones.
Also I can tell that he was paired with Asa (SP????) because she is doing the same thing.
Okay, I believe that this has been a successful post.

GOODBYE BEDA 2010!!!!!

Whew. BEDA was tiring. But it was, indeed, very fun. Super cool. Cooler than the coolest girl in the whole wide world. Or the coolest girl on the planet, the coolest b*&^% on Earth goshdarnit. Which is apparently you. (I thought it was ME!!!!)

Anyway, I wanted to wait until midnight to Facebook you (yay turning nouns into verbs!) and stuff for the official first time in a WHOLE MONTH. But I don't want to, because, after I post this, I will work on my DPs for a bit, then maybe finish my chapter summary (ehh, I'll probably just do that during period 6 tomorrow) then I WILL SLEEP!!! LIKE A FREAKIN' PANDA!!! It's gonna feel good to sleep early (like, around 11:30pm) for a change. Haha.

Yeah, BEDA was super fun, but I seriously think we should change this to April, not August.
Are you excited for NaNoWriMo?! I AM!
I can't get FEC out of my mind---yes, it's official. Until further notice. Because it'd be nice if it becomes a "FRIEND" and not just a FEC. FECs are just so casual.
Mmmm...curly hair.
Hey, may I please have the songs that you bought from AVPM/S? Pweety tweety please?
Umm.
Okay, so if I DID stay up until midnight, this is what I would have posted:

Dearest Kendall,
FRENCH THE LLAMA!!!! August is over; it is now September!!!! I missed you. But not really because you weren't gone at all.
Bye, Jen

Yeah, not so creative.
You ARE funny.
Nope, I didn't read any of THG today.

Oh, cool thing: we got barbecue pork ribs today. IN THE MAIL.

Okays, immas goes nows. Weres yous thes ones whos was theres whens Is saids thats Is wanteds tos plays as games wheres yous haves tos puts ans s ats thes ends ofs everys words as whiles backs??

Byes.

-FRUITY SALAD! (yummy yummy...I liked the Wiggles. My favorite Wiggle was...well, I liked all of them. I thought Jeff was especially funny, though.)

LAST POST EVER!!!! :00000.... Or not...

So I feel accomplished. The two of us posted for practically every single day in August. By tonight we will have a total of 76 posts, a number that I hope will continue to increase.
I feel like I was super boring throughout this whole month so maybe daily posts aren't the smartest things. Although I definitely will try post every one or two weeks from now on. I enjoyed this whole thing. It feels cool to have a blog and post every day. But not really, but yeah.
I like how Ashlyn commented and took part in our poll.
I feel slightly accomplished. Isn't that funny? That we would completely freak out if we had, like, a real follower, someone who we didn't know. I mean, that would be so cool, but we would freak out over only one person, when others have, like, a bagagillion followers. Yups.
(I apologize, but I have become re-obsesed with AVPM. Not that I wasn't obsessed in between now and watching it, but now I am very obsessed. I bought three more songs, The Coolest Girl, Those Voices, and No Way.)
Yup. So, we had our history test today and both Shannon and I got raped. We definitely need to study better for next time.
I like period 5. It is me, Jaime, and Sid. So it is like last years period 1, except minus Chubbie. The three (/four) tend to have rather interesting conversations.
I feel dumb carrying around my wand. Especially when I went on the elevator, after school, with Kelsey and Coach Look was in there. Although I have to bring it in again tomorrow for my photo project.
Speaking of my photo project, we have two right now.
1) Self portrait with an answer to a question or prompt. Our class' prompt is "My Life Is...." So I said awkward and you will have to wait to see the picture.
2) It is this crazy thing. You know those pictures that were in that case outside Dr. Iwashta's office. The ones that were letters and that were sort of like shadows. Well, if you don't know what I am talking about, you will eventually. Well, we have to do that, but as a self portrait. So I have a bunch of cool stuff that I hope works out. You will just have to see it when it is done.
I am excited to see what is on the September page of my Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince calendar. Draco was starting to get creepy.
I hope that you read some Hunger Games tonight.
I can be funny!!!!!!!!!
I just can't stop dancing!!!!!
Me gusta mi escritor mucho.
Third floor sucks.
When will this long homeroom drought end!?!?!?
I am the coolest girl in the whole wide world.
I need to start reading something else or something.
Shayne's hair doesn't seem that long.
I don't think that you have been on facebook yet. If you still haven't by the time that you read this, go say happy birthday to Alex Tom.
I think that I am going to switch to Pirate language on facebook.
Done.
Ha ha, when Cho Chang introduces herself to Harry, she says "Niaho" (SP, I know).
Ha ha, Pirate language is nuts.
Okay. I think that that last post was sufficient.
Well, until next time I post.

Please standby for my system reboot.

Okay, this is gonna be fast.
I'm doing two night's worth of Physics homework.
Then I have to study/review because I have a quiz tomorrow.
I will try to write a good one for our last day tomorrow.
Yay last day!
Well, not that this was not fun or anything.
It kinda was.
But I think we should make the A stand for April (like it was before it became August).
Because we're freer around that time.
Nice email to Mr. U.
I hope I got a good grade on my Spanish quiz today.
I'm just typing whatever comes to my mind for the whole five minutes that I'me going to write this blog.
One more minute to go. Kinda.
Um.
I like Hunger Games still. So far.
I'm getting excited.
Yeah.
Um.
That math stuff was boring, of course.
I'm gonna print out your 25 things and post it on my locker.
'Cause it makes me smile.
You should post it here, too.
I should do 25 things for you too. Hmmm....
Then we can both post it under "About Us" instead.
Or create totally new pages for them.
Whichever.
Okay, gotta go and find out the average acceleration of spaceship number 2 so that it stops at the exact same position and and at the same time as spaceship number 1.
Yay physics.

--Fruitay (baybaaaay!)

That ended up sounding super terrible.
P.S. I had an awesome time at the plant box/not-really-a-bench/we need to christen our place today after school. Full recap tomorrow! :)

Dos Mas Dias.

So, two more days left of this BEDA experience. It was fun I guess. Sort of boring from me at times. You better be prepared to write a decent amount tomorrow because you can't give a lame one tomorrow.

So today I was super lazy with homework. I decided that I will study for my history test tomorrow. I will do my chem homework tomorrow. And I will finish my Am lit draft tomorrow. At least I did Alg and Spanish homework today at school. I am starting to think that Am lit will be the bane of my existence this semester, not history, becauseI hate english and I suck at it,

Oh yeah, I need to E-Mail Mr. U. Should I also tell him about how Ms. Tamas wants to be more involved. And how we are gonna have meetings and stuff.

Math is easy. Gavin was right about how you rationalize a fraction with a cube root binomial on the bottom. You have to multiply the top and bottom by the thing that would be its partner in a difference or sum of cubes. Example:
5/ (3 root of 5 + 8)
You would take this and multiply the top and bottom by (3 root of 25 - 8 * 3 root of 5 + 64) and the bottom would end up as 5 + 8^3. Cool right? I thought so.

NOT BORING!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup.

Drained/Appreciative

Well, I was going to wait for you to post, but seeing as I spent all day reading and I still have homework to do, I will post now.

So I finished Mockingjay today. Which means I read all three books in one week. 1,155 pages in one week. I feel drained. They were amazing, but I can't even tell what I think of the books yet. There is one specific thing that I don't like but you will have to wait to hear. It will be extremely emotional for you. Just a warning. But it is rewarding, I think. I hope that you have read more. You need to catch up. Should I give Josh Mockingjay for now? Since he read the others but not that one.

Ha ha, I still need to write a paper that I have not yet started. And I have a test for Am Lit tomorrow. And I had a dilly problem for math, but I think I got it. Also I did well on Chem homework, except one problem which was converting Fahrenheit to Celsius, that was hard. Oh and I didn't understand one page in the spanish homework so I didn't do it, but I will ask Shann about it tomorrow.

I think it will be a while before I start on another book because I don't really have much time and reading that much in one week was kind of draining.

Pigfarts.

That was all I could think of when I saw Draco last night when I was watching some of Half-Blood Prince. Also I gained sort of a new found appreciation for Harry Potter. I can't really explain it, but I guess that I take Harry Potter for granted. It is one of those things that has always been around so I never really took much consideration to it. But when I was watching last night, I sort of felt like it was something really important. Even though I know that it is something that is really important. Also I have had "Voldemort is Going Down" stuck in my head. I also really like this song and I like how they used it in 5 and 6. (Skip to 1:00) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVZNdUn0yrA&feature=related.
Hermione's got nice skin.

Soon you are going to have to teach me the rules of dialogue quotation marks because I do not understand any of that at all and I don't want that to be a issue in November.

Okay, yeah, I think that that is it. I hope that you didn't post while I was writing this.

-wechew

No relationship should start with a drunken kiss. No. Just...NO.

Really. Just...NO. It can start on a kiss, but the two people have to be completely sober. Not drunk. Okay, maybe a sip of something like champagne is acceptable. But that's it! Basically, if they shouldn't drive, they shouldn't kiss either. Or do anything questionable that might follow the kiss. Gah--anyway, I'm getting off topic, here!

Moving on...

So, my subscription box for YouTube is just overflowing now. Yeah. I will watch all of them when I have time! I haven't even seen Hank's make-up tutorial yet! Sad.

Anyway, so I was reading THG (I'm on page 86) and it suddenly hit me why I was feeling depressed at the beginning of the book and why I was so excited and awesome and o-eme-ge I can't even explain the feelings of reading this book. It was because Ms. Collins decided to write the book in first person, present tense. So instead of reading, "Katniss this, Katniss that" and feeling like, "Oh yeah, that's Katniss and yada yada yada," I was reading, "I did this, I did that," which of course makes me feel, oh I don't know, EXACTLY LIKE HOW KATNISS IS FEELING. It's easier for a reader to put their feet in the character's shoes when the reader reads "I feel this" or "I do this" instead of having the feeling of watching the character do it. WE HAVE BECOME THE CHARACTERS.

Anyway, I might or might not finish part one. Depending on how much homework I finish so yeah. I have to get back to that. Anyway, you asked for a picture of our creation this summer so here's how it looks like from Josh's window:

Can you see the wind chime in the top left corner? Maybe not. It's super windy over here. I wrote my blank verse and read chapter two of my APUSh textbook here this weekend. It's been super windy lately so the wind chime has been going non-stop and I felt awesome sitting there and just doing my work. We haven't painted it yet, though.

Anyway, my Physics blog will be up and running by tonight, so I guess you'll just have to wait for me to post about it tomorrow or something because this is my Sunday one. Unless you call me and ask for the URL or something. Which I don't expect you to do.

LEARN TO PLAY THAT GUITAR!!!!

Ciao, man. (an example of "clash of cultures")

You SHOULD Be Ashamed

I am extremely disappointed..... Ha ha, no it isn't really a big deal. If you want to punish yourself, you can, but I won't administer one.

1) Umm yeah I guess so.

2) Ha ha that second one sounds....very specific. But I know what you mean. I can't write poetry either.

3) Pictura desu ka

4) Ha ha ha that's super funny. I was wondering what it meant. But the title actually doesn't really make grammatical sense. Or maybe it does. But to me it doesn't.

5) Your schedule doesn't sound toooo bad. I think you will survive. (Side note: What!?! Mr. Nakoa is 10000000000 times more cool than Mr. Martin. I don't like him at all.)

6) Yeah, I know what you mean.

7) Were those all the people with Josh yesterday? That's cool I guess. Although I still want him to be BFFs with Daniel.

8) Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. I love how that entire thing was basically written in code and I could understand all of it.

9) It sounds familiar. But I don't really remember....

10) Yeah, it continues to get even more and more depressing. But rewarding. In response to the technology thing, I get what you mean, but there is a reason for that. Technology is sort of a luxury that the capitol likes to keep to themselves. They are really technologically advanced actually, they like hovercrafts and stuff. It's just that the capitol doesn't really care about any of the districts so they work with what they have, which is why Katniss uses a bow and arrow. I don't really like how Josh says the team stuff because it makes me think too much of Edward and Jacob, even though it is completely different. But yeah, for now you can't have too much of an honest opinion because Gale isn't even in most of the first book. I don't expect you to finish, but I expect you to finish part 1 and then promptly after, you must blog about it or call me. That will be your punishment.

11) Umm I want to see it first.

12) Umm I have no idea what you are saying but me too........

13) Okay.

14) No.

15) I am glad to see him adjusted. I think that we can easily change that coolness opinion thing though.

So yeah. I have nothing really else to talk about except for one thing and I bet that you can probably guess what it is.

So last night, I finished Catching Fire and basically, my mind was continuously f!@#ed. Over and over and over. I have no clue how anyone could have waited for Mockingjay to come out. Today I got through the first part of Mockingjay. Again. My mind was rapped.

-Chew Y

The Europeans, greedy as they were, bought, tricked many times, a freshman in order to take your lunch and/or lunch and long rice.

I am ashamed of myself. I can almost imagine you ranting how you're ashamed to call me your friend, how you're super disappointed in me, and how terrible it was that the Europeans tricked many freshmen in order to take your lunch and/or lunch and long rice.

Please forgive me because I didn't post last night. My dad turned the wireless router off on me. I was gonna post. But. You know. I was just distracted by...stuff. On the Internet. Like, other stuff. Yeah.

I'M SORRY! Does this call for a punishment?

Anyway, on to my regular bloginessities:
1) I'm gonna have to do a blog for Physics. I am excited. I hope you (or we) follow it.

2) I'm trying to revise my blank verse, the four-lines that grew into ten-lines by the end of the week. That one has a "Yeah-you-know-I-knew-you-were-cheating-on-me-this-whole-time-so-it's-over-you-bastard-and-no-I'm-not-gonna-waste-my-time-fighting-to-save-our-relationship-because-guess-what-the-girl-your-cheating-with-is-also-cheating-on-you-whaaattt?!?!" kind of feel. And I don't like it anymore, so now I'm trying to come up with a whole new iambic pentameter blank verse that has a more "Do-you-remember-that-one-summer-we-spent-together-catching-dragonflies-in-the-meadow-and-stealing-tangerines-from-Mr.-Kline's-yard-and-we-decided-that-we-weren't-gonna-be-kids-anymore-but-now-we-grew-up-but-we're-still-young-yeah-I-miss-those-days-because-tangerines-taste-bitter-to-me-now" kind of feel to it. But I'm having a hard time trying to get inspired. So I'm listening to Luke's songs.

3) Did I tell you about that wind chime thing that came from Japan that was given to us by Trisha (Shayne's friend) that we decided to hang outside of the house in that hut-slash-gazebo-like thing that we all built as a family project this summer? Well, it keeps tinkling all day and all night. I can hear it now. But it's so not irritating at all. I love listening to it. The neighbors probably hate it though. Oh well.

4) About my title. Okay, so maybe I have never told you this, but back in English 10H we had to write Reading Responses for the chapters that we read every night. For most of the year, I wrote those RRs half-asleep. And the next day, I'd print it out and in class, I'd read along as the students or Mr. B presented the chapter summary. Then I'd come across a super weird sentence that doesn't belong there at all. This is the evidence that I wrote the RR half-asleep, but my fingers kept typing. But the cool thing is, the sentences were always grammatically correct and the words were all spelled correctly. Here's one from one of my RRs from A Midsummer Night's Dream: Hermia and Lysander enter again and they decide to sleep separately in order to be able to perform in theater class. Haha. There are weirder ones but I didn't wanna go through all of my RRs from last year (I think I wrote about 150 of those things!). Anyway, I stayed up pretty late earlier in the week working on my DP for APUSH and the sentence I used for my title was one of my answers to the questions. Yeah. I embarrass myself, even when I'm half-asleep.

5) Assessment of my schedule!!!
HR: I'm glad that I have you in this class. Shayne thinks it's super unfair, though.
Period 1: Spanish 3H. Sra. Melo again. I'm gonna have to start gearing up for this class because I don't want her picking on me ever again. My first quiz was "D"isastrous. I was sad. From the mafia, I have Adrienne here with me.
Period 2: Shakespeare. Except you have to say it more like, Shakespeehre. Or something like that; the last syllable has to be said dramatically. It's cool that way. Dr. Webb is my hero. He's funny. And we're writing poetry. Not my forte. I like The Taming of the Shrew, though.
Period 3: Scholarship. I'm at Main Office for the third consecutive year! YESSSSSSSSS! I work with Drew from the grade below us. It's very quiet.
Period 4: Precalc with Mr. Guillou. We're doing LOGIC, the easiest math that I'll probably ever do in my whole entire life. It will get harder later on though.
Period 5: AP Phys B. Mr. Heyler. He's cool. Our class is big. I think there are....wait...um...maybe 20 of us? Which is kinda a lot considering the normal class size. The labs are fun and I'm getting it right now. But, again, it's gonna get harder later on. And we have to do blogs, so that's exciting! And, oh, the most important thing: it's way better than Chem H.
Period 6: I have this period free on Mon, Wed, and Fri. I hang out at chapel with Jaime, Sid, Kelsey with a K, and Shann. I do homework when I can. On Tue and Thurs, I have a lab period for Physics.
Period 7: APUSH with Mr. Reppun. He's different. But he's a new teacher, so. I like that class though. Kinda heavy on the reading, which takes time. That's probably the only bad thing about this class. From the mafia, I have Krislyn.
Period 8: PE! I have Nakoa, not Martin. Sad. But I have Bogs and Shoobie with me so that's a good thing. We're running the mile-and-a-half on Monday. *sigh* I think I'll run the mile, then walk the half.

6) It was a hard first week. It felt like it was the middle of the year.

7) I met a lot of new people, mostly freshmen. Hunter. Jaylene (sp). Schuyler. Aja. Ryan. Jack. I like meeting freshmen. They're cool.

8) Okay, so I guess now is a good time to talk about the status of FECs/FroBros/SECs/JECs. Okay, so FECs. There aren't any. Yeah, I changed my mind after the Friday-after-school incident. I decided to wait and see. Now, SECs (It sounds weird when you say it out loud--I made the mistake of saying, "Do you have SECs? I have SECs," to Tiffany when we were discussing this topic. It was embarrasing.--so from now on, SECs will be said as "SEC-plural"). Acai Cup is still a SEC. The two "conjoined twins" (en mi clase de espaƱol) are still Fro Bros. Except now they're Soph Bros. Doesn't really have that ring to it anymore. I don't have any JECs (Fitzwilliam is dead). Tiff has her TBO, though. As for the older SECs, there aren't any (Yeah, I changed my mind about the one Rachel and I shared, too. She can take it.) And, yeah. That's all.

9) Does Kristina have a "malt liquor video"?

10) The Hunger Games. Like I said, I think it's super depressing. But it's good. the pace is a bit slow in the beginning, though, which is where I'm still at. I like Katniss. Josh asked me if I was on Team Gale or Team Peeta (Btw, what kind of a name is Peeta??) and I said I was on Team Gale. I'm guessing this will be important later on. I'm still struggling with the fact that they use bows, and yet there are cameras. I can't accept the fact that District 12, to me, looks like, you know, all cobblestone-y but they have technology. It has that small, cozy, rustic feel to it. Like, I can imagine a kid running in the rain, puddles on the cobblestones, towards home where his kinda rotund but cheery mom bakes warm bread above the fire. But the cameras during the reaping kinda felt out of place to me. But I guess I'll get used to it later on. I don't think I can finish this weekend. I'm sorry.

11) I made this calendar, kinda like the one that we had last year? With everything on it? Well, this one doesn't have everything on it, just stuff that are related to 11th graders and important stuff. Do you want one? I can give you a copy on Monday. It has the stuff for Fac Rels on it. Oh and my Speech and Debate schedule, too, but you can just ignore it.

12) Luke Conard likes me and Milee. (Dern Milee. Why can't it just be me?) I like the songs that Luke wrote for Kristina. And Milee.

13) I remember I was supposed to say something else, I remembered it during our convo on the phone but I said I was gonna just tell you here. But I forgot what it was. Oh well.

14) Okay, this was super long, so I hope this makes for last night.

15) Oh!! I just remembered! I was gonna say how happy I was that Josh seems to have adjusted so well, so quickly. He has friends. And game (haha!). But more importantly, friends. He has his first speech for English on Tuesday. I was helping him practice earlier. He told me that he feels like he fits in perfectly because his classmates are all exactly like him. I'm not worried about him anymore. And I appreciated your concern this past week whenever you asked how he was doing and everything. Josh thinks you're cool just because I think you are, but I hope that he'll eventually think you're cool because you are.

Okay, I'm done. Yes, I'm coming, homework!

--Fruitaaaayyyyyyiiiieeeeee :D
