BEDA Day 1: Craziest Day Ever!

So as the title implies, it is 1) the first day of BEDA (W00T!) and 2) it was a freaking crazy day!

Let's start from the beginning, shall we? In the morning we had an assembly to hear the speeches from the people who were running for proconsul. I liked most of them, some were really good! They basically just made it even harder for me to decided who to vote for.

Next was probably the most crazy part of my day: my period 1 class, Spanish. So today is April Fool's day, only a fool wouldn't know that (see what I did there?), and like any other teenage class of spanish delinquents, we decided that we would prank our teacher. We planned it out yesterday, and it seemed like a pretty reasonable and funny prank. We were planning on everyone gathering outside and not going into class for the first few minutes. So it started out like that, we were all waiting around the corner, well all except one, but that isn't very important. So a few minutes passed and we were planning on going in, until, the door opened and of course, everybody ran. We ran around the corner and all went inside an innocent english teacher's room. It was still fun, everyone was laughing, even the english teacher. We then asked her if she could write us all tardy notes that said April Fools! We got our passes and then went back to class. At this point, we were about 7 minutes late. We try to open the door, and it was locked. We didn't really know what to do so we put the slips under the door. After a few seconds, one came back out saying that we needed to get real tardy slips from the attendance window. We weren't really sure if she was joking or not because Senora has been known to be a trickster in her days, so we were still waiting around outside, singing songs and such. After a few more notes were passed, we finally got the message to go and get passes. While at this point we still kind of thought that she was joking, we decided to go do it anyway. We got to the attendance window and she thought it was funny as we all did. I think that she still marked us all tardy, but she gave us a note that said excused. Then, someone decided to get an unexcused note for the one person who went to class, and while it may have been funny to a certain extent, I think that that was the only part that we went too far. So we get back to class and she lets us in and we all sit down. Then, it's awkward. She just sat at her desk and we all just waited around for a few minutes, not really doing anything. At one point though, we all broke out into song, singing "Go Tell It on the Mountain" which was quite impressive, I must say. So then, as a class, we decided to go over homework, while she was popping her gum very loudly. The rest of the class was awkward, especially since the few times that she did speak, she seemed very mad. So yeah, it was fun, especially since one of my friends who had her class later in the day told me that she wasn't actually mad at us, and it was just her way of getting back at us.

The rest of the day consisted of just small, weird, and abnormal events. But I guess it was a pretty good day, and it was a good way to kick of BEDA.

(So for the rest of the month, I am going to be keeping track of the following things:)
Awkward Moments: 2
(I don't have any others yet, but I will think of some soon.)

Dos Mas Dias.

So, two more days left of this BEDA experience. It was fun I guess. Sort of boring from me at times. You better be prepared to write a decent amount tomorrow because you can't give a lame one tomorrow.

So today I was super lazy with homework. I decided that I will study for my history test tomorrow. I will do my chem homework tomorrow. And I will finish my Am lit draft tomorrow. At least I did Alg and Spanish homework today at school. I am starting to think that Am lit will be the bane of my existence this semester, not history, becauseI hate english and I suck at it,

Oh yeah, I need to E-Mail Mr. U. Should I also tell him about how Ms. Tamas wants to be more involved. And how we are gonna have meetings and stuff.

Math is easy. Gavin was right about how you rationalize a fraction with a cube root binomial on the bottom. You have to multiply the top and bottom by the thing that would be its partner in a difference or sum of cubes. Example:
5/ (3 root of 5 + 8)
You would take this and multiply the top and bottom by (3 root of 25 - 8 * 3 root of 5 + 64) and the bottom would end up as 5 + 8^3. Cool right? I thought so.

NOT BORING!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup.

Blog Reformation??

Okay, here is the requested picture! This is was super fun to do. I did the drawing on top and our friend, Adrienne, did the one at the bottom. I liked hers way better than mine but I like mine better than Kendall's. :)

As for BEDA (Thanks to Kristina!), LET'S DO THIS. We have been unfairly neglecting this blog. UP UNTIL NOW!

So we're making several changes with the blog, but nothing so drastic. The purpose will still be the same: to record our completion of the many tasks on our List and to inform our nonexistent followers and readers about it. Yeah.

So, this kind of reminds me of Brotherhood 2.0. Kind of but not really because theirs was totally no text-based communication at all for a year. Whereas we're doing blogging as the ONLY text-based communication for a month. So this means no e-mails (noooo!), no text messaging (ah, we don't do that anyway) and no Facebook messages, comments, or chatting (ok, this is just mean!). I think there should be some exceptions here...AND! We should save vlogging (it has two g's, gosh!) for college! THEN, we can do THAT like for real Brotherhood 2.0 style.

All right, so I'm gonna go back to chatting with Kendall now because we gotta fix this baby up by tonight!

GEOMETRY FTW!!

So I was reviewing the list and found that this item was on it: "Do some chalk drawings (Geometry! Using only string, chalk, and straightedges!)" I forgot that this was there so I wasn't able to inform you that it has now been done!!!! (Jen did it last summer and I did it this summer) So here is a picture of my (/my partners) awesome chalk drawing!

Jen I asume that you have a picture of yours and that you will include it in your next post.

You know what, I just had an awesome idea: we have had this blog for a year and we have not been using it very well. I was reading Kristina's (italktosnakes.blogspot.com) blog the other day and she mentioned something that I didn't really find significant until right now. She has decided to do BEDA which stands for Blog Every Day in August. So, Jen, are you up for it. It sounds like a really good idea that could be a lot of fun since we definitely have the time to do it since it is summer for most of this month. I guess that I have already started since it is technically August when I am writing this. We could both post everyday or maybe alternate, Idk, whatever you want to do. But since I am publicly writing this in a blog post, you are technically obligated to doing this by our non existent readers. Hey, we could even do it vlogbros style and make it so for this month, our only text based communication is through blog posts! So what do you think? [Btw, I really want to try the vloging one...]
